I came home from the doctor on Monday, super anxious, and thinking that waiting a whole week to have her would be forever. I was bored out of my mind all day Tuesday. I picked up the house a little and started doing a little laundry. I wasn't wanting to clean or "nest" or super exhausted. Just my normal lazy self! LOL
We went to bed Tuesday night and I was in a very deep sleep (which is totally not normal) and woke up around 2:00 A.M. with these odd pains. I got out of bed and walked around, then went and watched some tv. I downloaded a contraction timer on my phone and any time I had a pain I would start the timer. The pains I had didn't feel like a contraction but the timing was 4-5 minutes apart so I was sorta thinking that it might be contractions that I was having. The doctor told me that my stomach would go hard and the pain starts at the top and moves down to my lower half. These pains were like a pressure and then just a little cramp. I woke Chase up and told him I was going to shower because of the pains, GOOD THING I DID! I got out of the shower and layed on the chair to try and get a little rest. . YA RIGHT! I had such a strong contraction that it woke me up and shot me straight to the floor. When it was over I went right to Chase and told him we needed to go to the hospital. He was so tired that he just wanted me to lay next to him and he would cuddle me and make it better. I couldn't do anything but stand on the edge of the bed and cry because of the pain. We drove like a maniac to the hospital and went to the ER. The admitting lady was taking forever it seemed like and I didn't have time to wait. I needed to get these pains to stop now! She got a wheelchair and wheeled me up to the 2nd floor. They put me in room 7. . Chase helped me get my gown on, and the urine sample and the nurse hooked me up to the machines and kept asking a ton of questions. I didn't want to talk to anyone. She thought since I had been having these pains since 2 in the morning I would be dialated to at least a 4. She was right! Chase called my dad and told him it was time and then called his mom. I was excited to know that she would be coming that day but nervous because I was preparing to have her in a week not that soon!
They put all my IV's in, gave me some awesome medicine to take the edge off from the contractions I was having. Then the nursenesthetist came in and gave me the epidural. WOW extremely painful. I told my mom that I wasn't in so much pain if I had a dirty scowl on my face. The looks took all my pain away!
At 2:05 P.M. Bentlee was born!
